Last year I got asked to speak at an event called Limitless Live hosted by my lovely friend @suzy_ashworth.
I had always considered my life to be pretty limited with a dodgy childhood, no qualifications, married and kids young, domestic violence and 2 divorces by the age of 36, but, when I started to write my talk, I realised, I was far from limited, I was, in fact, FUCKING LIMITLESS!
This podcast episode was recorded live at the event, and is for anyone who feels that their lives challenges are creating limitations, this talk will make you reconsider that story that you're telling yourself and challenge you to reframe it, and empower you to instead, use it as evidence (this will all make sense, once you've listened to the podcast - trust).

This is one of the rawest, frankest and most beautiful conversations I've had on this podcast and because of such, there are a few triggering topics such as cancer, termination, and IVF among others, so please consider if you're in the right place to listen.
In this episode am joined by Emily Hodge aka @gentle_life_mindful_business. Emily is one of the strongest women I have ever met, she has gone through multiple, pretty devastating, life experiences and yet remains firmly staying in the present and seeking the positive.
This is a real-life human story of triumph over constant adversity. Emily chooses to not be defined by her experiences and instead, chooses to look forward rather than behind.
She's a true inspiration, I've been truly inspired and I'm sure you will be too.

Following on from my live event last week in Essex (which was a HUGE success and raised just shy of £900 for Safer Places Essex, refuge for women and children) I thought I'd share my talk with you here so you don't miss out (sadly I can't share the other amazing 3 speakers talks but please do go and search them up on the socials - @jemmas_health_hub - @the_business_therapist - @elloaatkinson)
My talk was about forgiveness for freedom, in this episode I share why I got to the point where I had no choice but to forgive (my lowest point), who I had to forgive (spoiler, my mother who didn't show me any love, my abusive ex-husband, and maybe the toughest one, that's still ongoing, myself)
I share how I managed to forgive and detach myself from stories that I had been carrying for more years than I care to remember, and I share my top 5 tips on how you can begin to forgive too.
If you enjoy this episode, please subscribe, review and share on the socials tagging me @thisgirlisenough
If you are living with domestic abuse, please reach out, this is not how your life has to be, much love 💖

This episode is one I recorded with Gemma Barry aka The Well Woman Project.
Gemma is a specialist in all things women's wellness, a Herbologist and a trained Mizan Abdominal Therapist.
Periods are her thang!
We chatted about the benefits of using Mizan massage to regulate your cycle, herbs to stop the bitchin', menstrual cups, PCOS, Endometriosis, the power in the menopause and how we can support our teenage girls when they first start their periods.
"Last year after 10 long years I was finally diagnosed with something, I had a large cyst on my ovary that I need to have surgery to remove. I was also found to have fibroids, endometriosis, and Adenomyosis. It was a bummer and a relief all at the same time. But my intuition had been right, there had indeed been something wrong and finally, I could start making moves to make me healthy again." - Gemma
