We hear all the time about how we should just 'love our bodies'. If it was that easy, we all would be doing it, but sadly, it's just not as simple as that is it?
I've had huge battles with my body, I've tried ALL the diets, I've tried ALL the celeb-endorsed workout DVDs, I've paid for ALL the unused gym memberships, I'm over it.
I've decided to accept that whilst I may never love my body, I'm in a place where I've found peace with my body and that feels so damn good!
Balance has brought me freedom and body-respect which feels so much more achievable for me and has meant that I've let the eternal self-criticism go, meaning I'm freed up to spend my time thinking about things that enhance my life rather than restrict and downgrade it.
